To sum up, basically what you're doing is attaching the rotor to the hub with bolts from the back (side closest to centerline of car) and using the very same bolts as the wheel mounting studs?

No...they are 45 degrees out of phase with the wheel studs on my car.and stop right at the mounting flange face. Others may be the way you describe, don't know for sure. mike
