Filters are cheap insurance. I run one big one before the fuel pump and another smaller one right ahead of the carb. If the pump and filters are up to snuff the whole system oughto be trouble free.

Back when I was running cars I always filtered the fuel through a chamois into the tank. It's a little slower filling but the results are good. Any protection is better then none. Glen -- Original Me
