- Shouldn't think so. Mine is fairly tired, but I don't have this problem. The only fuel loss I have ever had came from a loose clip on the rubber section of the fuel line. Petrol, evaporates very fast

- It can be quite spectacular, and completely painless. Petrol volatilises so fast that it never gets the chance to start to oxidise your flesh. Guess how I know. And no, I didn't do it deliberately...

- Paul, not a big problem on the fuel pump. Sounds as if the screws just worked loose. If it does not leak and the fuel is flowing freely after you tightened them I wouldn't worry. If it loosens again
