Good afternoon, Has anyone had problems with the proximity of the aftermarket fuel pumps. It seems that the fuel inlet is almost too close to the oil filter block. Has anyone installed an elbow etc.

I had the same problem. I used a piece of metal fuel line with a flared end and a threaded connector. I bent the pipe to clear the oil block and screwed it into the fuel pump. I had to solder the met

I got to the point of starting the motor on the S3 rebuild the other day but the fuel pump decided not to. Seems it can't get petrol into the suction chamber, even though I took the bowl off and put

Gas should run into the bowl (if you had the glass bowl off). I'm thinking you need to recondition the gas tanks. Have you done this before. If not, then yes, it needs it bad. A Blood Sucking SOB? I

No problem with the tanks which were cleaned before reinstalling (in fact they were pretty good anyway - benefits of living in a dry climate?). Plenty of gas coming down the fuel line, it just won't
