Have you cleaned the points on the pump? If not I would do that before attempting any re-wiring. One other thing you might want to do is test for power and ground on the pump leads the next time it c

Was the pump doing the same thing before it was rebuilt? If so then it probably is in the wiring/connections. If not then the rebuilder may have done something wrong . My PC just burped thats what th
