My '69 BGT has a threaded fitting on the end of the steel fuel line. On general principle, Onto this is attached a fitting with about 3 inches of (1/4"?) braided line. I'd like to replace it with som

I can't specifically answer your question, but I have noticed that many "plumbing" fittings on the MGB are an odd mixture of UNF and British (BPT, BSF, etc.). For example, all of the brake lines see

Larry, I'm not sure the size - I'm thinking its pipe thread. But my question is why can't you just remove and replace the line? The line on my 72B had the one end to the fuel line cut off to accomoda

There is nothing wrong with the steel line back to the tank. My local parts pusher stocks the flex line, I'll just get a new one of those, it's easier than trying to figure out the proper fitting, th
