Allegedly it's new... but the seller installed it, so I have no way to know for sure. However, it did get me home on a 150 mile highway journey when I bought it. It seems to be pumping through a heal

It could be in the fuel pump itself. The valve on the inlet side may be leaking, again allowing enough fuel to be delivered to the float bowls, but not enough pressure to bring the pump to a stop. Wh

Good point. We put one of those on Marcy's Magnette, and it indeed does tick constantly, though it gets a bit quieter when the float bowls are full.

Isolate the pump using soft rubber mounts. Don't have metal-to-metal contact at any point between the pump and mounting point. Helps a bit. WFO
