Well, maybe nitromethane, mono methyl hydrazine or just plain hydrazine. Of course with the last two, we would need to clear the salt flats or make everybody wear space suits...:^) mayf

I suspect nitro burns too slow from all I have read.. The hydrazine well no thanks rather buid a cylinder(bullet) shaped car and put it in a cannon... Dahlgren

The rule lists the testing methods one of which is a dielectric test. The section that reads; " If the Contest Board establishes an 'EVENT' gas or gasses, that product MUSTbe used for record attempts

well the cheapest thing I have put in my car is the Gas... but it wasn't free out there... I give ERC credit though... They could have raped us and didn't ... it was actually less then I have to pay

Sorry out there; I was thinking of the 60's when there were several Bonneville meets where the gas was provided by a sponsor and the stuff was gratis. Mind you this was just high octane pump gas not

in I'll second that , 100 gallons of alchohol takes up a lot of room in the truck. Alchohol from them is cheaper by the gallon at the salt than I can get it locally by the drum. Jim
