My 69 Datsun Turbo V-6 Roadster. First Gear is usually good for about 10 feet of smoke then one to 2nd. I now just start in second. Gear ratio rear end is 3.889, 20" tall tires and a first gear of 3

I can think of two: My (former) Midget and my Lotus Europa. On some courses, I am in second before the start-timing line. but I can't think of any course where I would shift into first in the Lotus.

I heard someone mention, somewhere along this thread, that you could only switch final drive/diff. due to updating/backdating. Is this true of SM? It doesn't seem logical, but rulez is rulez. I belie
