Jim, The 'A' mechanical tach drive is on the block ... not the generator. Sounds like a Bug Eye bit, but if my OF memory serves me the MGT's used a tach drive off the generator. No idea what the gua

I looked at the numbers stamped on my TD's generator. Standing at the front of the car, the generator has stamped in it L U C A S --> 22265 10 52 C39 PV2 DA41 12V Made in England Bob

MG TF's had the tach drive off the back of the generator and had the grease cup as well Charley Robinson 1954 MGTF
