- Seems like you could still use the radio if you insulated the case from the car body and then ran a positive wire to the case. I don't know cuz I have never done it! :)

- If you are clever about it, you can have utopia. That is, going to neg earth, and keeping the stock radio. This simply means isolating the radio from earth, and connecting both + and - by wire. Trust
