There is no way I know of to keep the salt off the under side of a vehicle. Two things that can be done to minimize the problem is, spray the underside with oil (solvent/transmission oil mix works),

The Salt-a-way product that Keith picked up last year worked pretty well after Bonneville. Not perfect but better than previous years. Mud Off sprayed on befor you hit the salt doesn't hurt either. K

One other suggestion I have had good results with: Armorall (which is nothing than a silicone emulsion). I coat the entire underside with Armorall and it keeps the salt from sticking to it. Where it

You might also consider the inside of your motorhome,and make a diaper that covers the floor and goes a couple of inches up the sides. Visquene is popular,or go to a local tarp shop and buy plastic
