- Auto stores sell a product to remove decals, I think it costs about $7 dollars a can. You might also try an electric hair dryer. It is slower but works and may leave a sticky film. ...Art

- Try Avon Skin-so-soft - I have used it to remove all sorts of sticky stuff - bumper sticker residue, bugs, tar, bubble gum, road gunk... the list goes on and on Bill

- I have been using a product called "OOPS". Get it at Lowes. It does not seem to hurt the paint or just about any other surface I put it on. Won't promise it will not take the color out but so far it

- "expert" I have used for years a bodyshop product called Ditzol(Sp ?) It is a wax and dirt remover, but it will remove glue, overspray etc. without harming older paint . I believe it can remove overs
