- Hey folks: Are there any suggestions for a grease or lubricant that can be sprayed into ignition/door locks that won't congeal over time, and won't damage electrical contacts? Regards, Charles '74 Mi

- Powdered graphite. AKA dry lube. Oil works but collects dust then the mechanism gets all munged up. Oil also only weeps out when your wife has on a special evening gown and you are on you way to that

- Yes, ONLY use powdered graphite. Doesn't get "sticky" with age. Comes in a little tube that sorta looks like airplane glue tubes. Pick it up at Wal-Mart or any auto parts place. Also good for lubrica
