OK, I admit it, I'm really stupid about the jet/needle interaction on a Z-S CD150. I bought a pair of Grose Jets along with my carb rebuild kits and I feel kind of lost... Do I still need new needles

I put them in my TR6 when I rebuilt the carbs, and have never had the slightest problem with them. I have had problems in the past with needle valves not sealing or sticking. British Car this month

I put gross jets in the 'B. One worked fine & one tends to get stuck open on startup. I have to hit it with a hammer & its OK. I have cleaned it multiple times and there is a fuel filter upstream. T

Okay, I'll add my two cents to the grose jet discussion.... I think they work great. Used to have lots of problems with sticking needles even with new ones. Especially with fuels containing alcohol.

I've previously had precisely the opposite problem. The silly thing stuck closed. A couple of taps with the trusty hammer solved the problem. A little Chemtool solved it permanently. These valves see
