Can anyone tell me the correct location of the ground strap for a 1977 MGB? My manual shows a picture of one end on a motor mount but I don't see where the other end connects. Thanks Dave Matthews

Early cars had it on the front left-hand engine mount, later cars on the gearbox. In both cases it bridges the mounting rubber and so bolts to the engine/gearbox at one end and the chassis mount/rear

Paul as usual is right on. Luckily, unlike electronic circuits, which do not like ground loops having an extra strap is not a problem on a B. It's a good idea to double up, with one strap at the back
