Hi Guys. After putting a high torque starter last weekend, I went out for a drive. Car felt funny on normal acceleration, and the farther I drove, the worse it got. Started OK, idle OK, but on accele

Sorry Bob. This can be a problem, but I solved this issue 2 years ago. I cut the slot larger, and now the nut and bolt will hold in any position. Think, what is happening, and it is so simple. The cl

OK, I'll go with an electrical problem that behaves like a rev limiter. This means a weak spark. So, spark coil goin' south?? Bob Palmer rpalmer@ucsd.edu rpalmer@brobeck.com

My vote is that the two wires on the solenoid were reversed. Either the large amp ones and/or the small ones that switch the ballast resistor out during cranking (I,S terminals). Since the only thing

Hi Arden, no but that is a good guess. The problem, sounding like a rev limiter, would not be this, since there would still be gas in the float bowls. When I drained the fuel tanks, I started the car

My 76 Dodge Assburn with 318 had a heat riser. Strange option in the Midwest. It had an air pump in lieu of a catalyst. Used regular gas. I believe you are correct, the Tiger does not have a heat ris
