I know the subject was raised once before, but I thought I'd bring it up for anyone considering this engine. Supposedly it's the same form factor as the R16/H20 although with a few differences (water

BxS 3.6220x3.661 I don't know much about engine dynamics to know if that'd be streetable or not. Maybe with a higher rear end ratio, to keep the revs down? Adam Bradley '70 Datsun 1600 Roadster SPL31

hi everyone i'm intrigued by the thought of 25% more displacement, there being "no replacement for displacement." is it (the H25) truly a bolt in? is it outwardly the same as the H20? and therefore b

Here's a picture of the engine: http://www.wiproducts.com/images/H-series.jpeg The engine is only rated at 62hp, but then again the H20 is rated at 54hp, so I assume it's more due to restrictive thin

A 3.66" stroke isn't all that bad. Here is a Chevy V8 B&S chart with the engines in that stroke range and longer. Some of these can be made into pretty high revving motors, 6000 rpm for sure. :-) 325

If the bore is 92 mm you can get 2180cc with the H20 crank (if it's 82 mm stroke). My Volvo 142 B20 engine was 92.5 x 86 mm (stock 88.9 x 80 mm) and it would pull all the way to 8000 rpm. The H20 is

Long stroke 4-cylinders are Volvo S40 & V40 with 1948 cc (90 mm) no balance shafts. Saab 2300 cc (90 mm) 2 balance shafts. There was a rare FJ24 engine but it had less than 90 mm. I think Honda makes

No, but we weren't talking vibrations issues. The issue was rev limits. And a straight 4 is often better off in that respect because of internal component weights, and crank strength. The Nissan L6s
