The use of 1/2 years are to distinguish between changes made during a model year. In the case of 69 and 69 1/2 the 69 would have a single unit rear bumper and the 69 1/2 would sport the two piece bum

Interesting point here. Never heard of a ".5" car except the 1974's... Guess it would depend upon registration date. For example, my 1966 was built in October 1964 and is a pull-handle car...! By all

Clausager only refers to the 74 1/2 cars as these had major 'enhancements' part-way through the model year. A model year could start anything from August to December the previous year and the convent
