- Just out of curiosity, don't you need to be concerned about the heat level of the halogen bulbs...they seem to be hotter to the touch per watt than most of the regular incandescent to me. Regards, A

- If you have any halogen lights at home, don't touch the bulb or even the housing. They are HOT. Be sure your instruments can handle the heat, as well as the increased amperage in those small wires.

- If you look at the prices, they are not cheap for a single bulb, times 7 for my car is about $84. The silk screening on the gauges is old and heat is certainly a consideration. Larry
