All Fire Systems must have a Yearly Inspection. See Pg 30-32 in the 2000 rule book... Once every 6 yrs the inspection folks will make you Empty and refill your bottle to inspect the seals.... this me

The bottle gage can be in the green with less than full volumn in the bottle. The weight of the bottle is what is inspected. A 5# bottle weighing 2.2 lbs. empty will weigh 7.2 lbs. when full. Dan W -
