I used a counter sink (1/2" I think) and a hand drill. Remember, you are not recessing a screw just cleaning up what might have pulled up with the stud. Just buzz the holes for a second with the dril

i NOW use a 45 degree angled carbide bit. chuck it up in the drill and you are in production mode camfering threaded holes! be carefull with drill bits! cast iron is far softer and easier to drill in

I too had nothing but problems with copper head gaskets. Of all the blown or leaky head gaskets (close to a dozen by now) all have been copper. I am a firm believer in the paper head gaskets too. My

Depends entirely on the headgasket. Some, like Fel-Pro, specifically do not use any sort of coating. Others can use it. Some (like my Ford) specifically call for it.
