shim head gaskets are installed with a spray coating of aluminum paint. then you just clean and reuse. good idea on removing the studs so you don't bend the edges of the holes. ted -- Ted Schumacher

Try out the head gasket spray that Mordy sells through Gasket-Works. Good stuff especially formulated to seal. Goes a step beyond the silver paint, etc... Steve
