of about 3.109". Anybody care to venture an estimate of the probability that I'd experience interference between the valves and pistons with a standard head gasket installed? Yup, you're in trouble.

The valves and pistons never interfere (unless the timing chain breaks). What you have to worry about is interference between the exhaust valve and the block, which can occur on MGA and early B engi
