- I just talked to a friend with a supercharged MGB, has a header with header tape and says it really decreases cockpit and engine compartment heat. My question, can you use the tape on a regular cast

- Hi Greg, I'll add one more formula for you: Header wrap + daily driver = bad idea. If you only drive a car with headers and header wrap occasionally or to race it, you should be OK. I added the wrap
