Lots of possibilities depending on how pessemistic/cautious you are. On trips outside my 100-mile AAA towing zone I carry -- Electric fuel pump to patch around the mechanical pump if (when) it fails.

Hi Richard IMO ditch the spares and nothing will go wrong, the only time I ever had a won't go any further breakdown was when I was carrying spares and tools and the wrong spares at that! Seriously h
