I align my headlights this way. I dont use a wall. I wait till it is dark out, then I park on a streetand aim the right(curb) headlight as far as I can keeping it illumed on the ground and off about

I aim my lights as does Patrick to the way I want them so I don't overdrive them. I find the standardized aiming procedure is not good for me as I like them aimed a bit further in front. I also use E
