Thanks for the quick reply Gordon. I am not sure AT ALL but the bulb and lense both say "E2" on them. I assumed the "H" in the bulb you were referring to stood for Halogen? I even checked out Cibies

The "E2" is an OLD BULB. These were the TUNGSTEN HEADLIGHTS of the 1960's. Predates the Halogen bulbs by a few years. Locating tab on those bulbs were not the same as the H4. I had seen them in both

This thread brings up the question of what halogen lamp can be used in a roadster without modification of the electrical system, i.e. relays etc., just plug it in. Thanks, Ray 68 1600 68 2000

I have run the 55/60W H4 halogens in my roadster without modifications to the wiring harness since about the time I bought the car (1971) and have never had any troubles. If you have trouble find the

I have been testing some low cost lights for a future story in the magazine. They are Autopal brand. I got them through Les. They are clearly not as well made as my old Cibies or the Hellas I used to
