I am going to assume that your 74B is the same as mine, so here it goes 1. grasp the headrest by the sides. 2. close eyes 3. -most important- grunt a manly sound. 4. pull really hard.

If it is like my '73 Midget, you need to peel the upholstery up from the bottom of the seat back and remove or get under the seat back foam to get access to the spring retainer. I couldn't figure out

It depends why you are going to do it - if you are going to recover/reupholster the seat then it comes off last once everything else is gone and the frame is bare!! (there are two miserable little sp
