I had to do some minor snipping of the shields to work w/the CAT headers. These are pretty lightweight material, easy to cut. Of course, like everything else on a Tiger, you're working in close quart

If the pump springs a leak; I would think you would smell it unless you are going very fast in which case you will slow down soon due to lack of fuel. I'm not sure what your concern with the battery
