Anybody know, offhand, what are the thread sizes of the studs that mount the heater valve to the head on a 1275? thanks, chuck

if you are not an orginality freak, you can just use standard grade 5 bolts, from a local HW store. I can't remember the exact size, but it's either 3/8ths or 7/16ths. - Bryan

Never could find any real 1/4-28 studs, so I used auto-grade 1/4-28 bolts shortened appropriately and slathered in anti-seize. Thanks to all for your suggestions. The head is on! As James Brown once

ummmm heater controll valve studs are 1/4" i just can not remember if they are coarse or fine threads. chuck the other chuck... :) i'm leaning towards coarse if i can remember at this point? been san
