Yep, Dave, that is the MkI valve I remember. It always leaked, so I used a modern valve from a Honda for $11, and positioned it in the plentum area. See TU. Doesn't leak, and cleans up the engine bay

Thanks for the info on the water valves. As you may already know the MK1a and MK 2 water valves have been long out of production. We do however stock the correct MK1 water valve! Our parts# is BT152

part 780-411 is the mark 1a valve at moss. ill email you a pic, its seems to be an almost exact replica. the mark 1 and 1a valves are totally different. get the right one, both are available. Peter L
