- You are correct-It was a Vedette and it had blown a head gasket (had aluminun heads if I remember correctly) We located a gasket at a boat racing outfit in Anacostia Md. which had lots of V8 60 part

- Word of wisdom to the racers out there. Dual caliper brakes only work if both are connected to the pedal. If one pushrod falls out, you have *no* brakes. Trust me on this one. I found out 2 weeks ago
