If you want to go for a motorcycle helmet, I've always used Zoom Cycle on El Camino. For a real road-racing helmet (SA rated) go to Frey Racing over near the Great Mall, www.freyracing.com. -Carl

I just got a Snell M2000 rated helmet at Santa Clara Cycle on El Camino between Wolfe and Lawrence. It's an HJC open-face helmet. They have white and black. Some are M95 and some are M2000, but it's

If you ride motorbikes you probably want the extra protection provided by a good quality full face helmet like a Shoei RF-800, which can also serve double-duty as an autocross helmet.
