I've captured numerous Raccoons as well as raised a bunch of little ones. They're a rather curious group in general and somewhat on the bold side. Were they human, curmudgeon comes to mind. Anyway,

I caught a few thru the years. Hotdogs work great. If you feed a coon, be sure to have a bowl of water nearby, they like to wash the food first. If you feed it every night, it will leave the kittens

We hav a cat that likes to do this with her dry cat food. Very amusing to watch! We got her as a stray kitten, so we sometimes wonder if she spent any time with raccoons before we got her... -=Chris
