- amen to that John. I have a $300 pipe bender up in the garage attic having made that very mistake. Then I bought a Progressive air over hydraulic tubing bender to do the lakester and the Anglia cage

- You might try this site. They give a good explanation of the bow bender and the problems plus alternative benders. That sure is a sweet price though (probably make up the difference in kinked bends

- It will bend but it will look awful. It will end up with a big "flat" spot. Get in touch with Williams Low Buck tools (I think they have a sight ) and either get the right shoe for your bender or get
