OK, I assume your head is bolted down, your cam is set with the #1 lobes at 10 2, and that the #1 piston is at TDC. If not, make sure that you are careful about how you rotate the engine with the cam

The head is NOT on. The Crankshaft and large jackshaft gear line up fine and the way they are supposed to. I'm trying to figure out how the small jackshaft gear should be oriented. I can always adust

Well, like you said in your first email, the jackshaft is keyed, so it can only go on one way, right? I don't have my block here right now, but I just went out and looked at the gears, lining them up
