Yep, that is what my reference material says as well! Doubtful! Would you buy a new Herald that had a smaller engine than was advertised? If the car is otherwise in good shape, you should reconsider.
Actually, that last letter should be a "V" and not a "U" (the CV stands for convertible, and the L before it means left hand drive) Might actually be a later Standard -- or Triumph -- 10, but that's
