Further to last weeks thread on the key in the Engine compartment - Rick asked if I would take a photo of the location of the Key and send it to him. - I thought that others might also be interested

One thing surpises me: why is it that the in your webpage is mentoined the key is not meant for the car's ignition. For what purpose - i.e. what keylock is the key then? Cheers, Hans Back from Atlan

Hans - It says that the key shown is not the key for this car's ignition to prevent theft - the original was replaced by a key from another car by the owner.. The factory had the correct ignition key
