I am not sure about running tires that old, but I sure like what ever was being done to store them! I was unaware that "AllState" (Sears & Roebuck at the time) made LSR tires. I wonder what they were

I am running new tires. But I can get mine new. I know some of the guys are running old tires...does that make them safer? No, just an acceptable risk to those folk. Since I can, I will.
