I've always been under the impression that you should not hone the cylinders with the pistons still in, as there's really no way to clean all the debris from the honing process out of the engine with

What is the correct method? My block is torn down completely at present and I will soon take it to the shop for cleaning, etc. The cylinder walls are sleeved. What does "doing it right" involve? Mich
