- After some scarry (couldn't get the hood open) situations I need to realign the hood release mechanism. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding the best way to get the two male and female to line

- Joshua, the PO on my car put another cable clamp (a brass barrel with a hole for the cable to pass, and a lockscrew to clamp the cable down) right behind the cable clamp on the hood release mechanism

- I bought the emergency hood release kit from Moss, which basically includes a cable (without the sleeve) and T-handle, which you thread through a hole on the passenger firewall and attach to the latc

- Joe Cannon's design works great. I used a straightened 1 gallon paint can handle as the actuating rod. I put a round loop on the end inside the car and measured it such that the loop is tight against
