When I got my bugeye the steering wheel horn button was bypassed with a separate button and separate wire to the horn. I have since installed a new wiring harness and am in the process of reconnectin

Wrong horn or you are missing a spade connector.. that said, see if the horn doesn't ground through it's mounting, if so , you can get by with just one wire.. Lester

Spridget horns feed hot through the horn and ground at the steering wheel Other horns feed hot through the button and ground the horn through the horn mounting.
