I have a lucas horn relay that I ordered from V.B. for my Spitfire. I had it hooked up properly, and had to take it off to check something out, and foolishly forgot to write down the connections :( S

85 and 86 are the coil terminals. If you measure resistance between them, you won't get much, since the load is all inductive. 30 is the common side of the switch, which may be connected internally

Tom, I'm a litt confused. What year Spit have you got? Later models show no relay on the schematic - the current passes through the horn switch directly to the horns - according to the schematic! I'v

I can confirm that my '77 spit does NOT have a horn relay, the horns are indeed driven directly from the horn switch. Hope that's of use to somebody, somewhere. Chris. -- -- 1977 Spitfire 1500...Ever
