Any suggestions on how to buff out a badly oxidized MGB. I've tried a small area rubbing by hand with a cutting compound and it comes up really nice and shiny. I've never buffed out paintwork before,

I work with a guy who just did his T-bird Monday. He said he used `Meguries Fast finish color restorer' to remove the oxidation, then he used `Meguires Deep Crystal or Liquid Crystal' to clean it. H

Hello Nick.. I have the same problem on my 72 MGB/GT. Also, however, I have many pits, and a few scratches that are rusting. To fixe the pits which are not rusting, I am using some PolyKote(?) black

First off, suck up and buy a nice ~7" buffer. You can get them for about $50 and they make the whole job go so much faster. And don't scrimp on the waxing bonnet, either. I think natural lambswool is

In my opinion, NONE. If you want electrical assistance buffing out your car, buy a buffer and don't ruin your LBC with a cheap substitute. A decent buffer costs about $50, and the good ones start at
