My spedo isn't working to good... It reads fast. Typically in top gear (4th), haw fast are you going at different rpm's? Say at 3k, 4k, and at 5k.

According to the manual on my '71, a non-overdrive car goes 18mph per 1k RPM in top gear. This is assuming that tire diameters are close to original etc. This number may have changed on later cars, b

Wow... I was over 5k on the tach on 101 today.. That's equates to over 90!!!! And I could put my foot in it and it would accelerate!!! I prolly shouldn't be going that fast on a month old engine. Oh.
