my tranny hump gets mighty warm. I'm planning on putting some carpet in, but would like to put some insulation down underneath it. Does anyone have any reccomendations? Has anyone done anything with

I just used heavy carpet pad. JC Whitney sells various types of foil-backed insulation for auto use. I would think kiln insulation would be overkill, but ...? Larry Colen had this to say: -- Max Heim

I used the grey chopped up looking stuff that came in a roll from JC Whitney. A week after it arrived, the same stuff was on sale at Auto Palace. It conforms to the tunnel pretty well, and you can't
