Rebuilding will work depending on the condition of the bores if there is any pitting or scoring that will not come out with a light honing you should consider new parts. If you hone out too much meta

I have rebuilt the dual line master cylinder ,the clutch slave and rear wheel cylinders with no problems. All are easy tasks with no more than replacing small rubber seals .Carl e.

Only seen one from Apple that they sized too small for an MGB so that the piston kept sticking in the bore and had to be honed out to work correctly have heard second and third hand that Whitepost do

My experience with sleeving was not good. Sent four cylinders to and three of the four leaked around behind the sleeve. Bad machine work or whatever. Wound up buying new ones. Regards, John Morrison
