- Jim; We have run Tilton on race tracks for years with no problems. You have to set the free play correctly. Are you using a three disk clutch? You have to use the correct pressure plate fingers with

- Jim; You should have shims that mount between the bearing and the trans. With the bearing seated I use about .030 clearance. If your hard on the clutch and wear the plates that clearance will shorten
