Maybe you just have the wrong motor mounts! I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Check the engine number (between the middle two spark plug wires, just below the head) against the list in a Moss Motors o

Jason......I believe you have drawn a wrong conclusion from the spacers! Most late Bs had spacers between the mounts and the chassis mounting points. We're not positive why they're there but there th

I would look at Clausners (sp?) book Original MGB and start from there by trying to identify what my engine has or doesn't compared to a 79 engine. I'm assuming that the engine doesn't have it's numb

somebody saw me working on my midget, and asked me if I knew anybody looking fo a motor for a B , well I guess it came out of an austin marina ? It has 30k, an automatic trans. zenith carb, a 1800cc.
